We created a online tool for Jimmy Choo, that was full integrated with the sales force commerce cloud (Demandware) platform at product catalog level. It removed the complexity of the platform catalog structure by giving them a simplified web interface through which they could then update catalog content easily in 4 different languages across thousands on products.
This did not just save a lot of time that could be spent elsewhere, but also reduced the level of training needed for new employees that joined the company in the ecommerce department. Everyone could get up to speed using the interface quite quickly.
Made-To-Order Web Service

Jimmy Choo launched a made-to-order shoe service whereby you could design your own shoe online. This service was then expanded to stores on iPAD devices. As this service is a no-return service we needed to capture customer's signature at time of purchase.
We developed a WCF webservice for them that could capture all the information on the order from the iPAD device as well as the signature. The service would then log the information in a database and then recreate the signature to a image file stored on the Jimmy Choo secure network and linked to the order information in the database.
This would ensure we had the customer's signature against the order form to ensure they had proof of purchase by the customer. This also ensured the order information was processed real time rather than using store purchase forms.

We created a sample sale booking system for Jimmy Choo to help them manage bookings for this event more efficiently. We built a system that could be reused for the same events in different parts or the world catering for different languages.
The system would ensure that only customers on the VIP list, compiled internally, could book slots for the event online and that each customer could only book one slot.
The event usually spreads across a couple of days with different time slots each day. Each slot could only accomodate a certain amount of customers, so the system would manage the slot count as well to ensure we did not go over the allowed number of slots.

Over the years where have helped Jimmy Choo integrate with different payment gateway providers such as Paypal (Online), Datacash (Online), Cybersource (Online) and Adyen (In-Store).
eCommerce is different to normal chip and pin transactions as a authorisation is taken at the time of the purchase that allocates the funds on the customers account until you can dispatch the goods which in turn then settles against the authorisation capturing the funds.
We helped them create a secure online service to which their appropriate fulfilment centres could connect to and action required financial transactions safely and securely as part of warehouse operations.
By creating this, we allowed them to easily migrate to new warehouse suppliers as the payment service was independent and owned by Jimmy Choo rather than the WMS supplier.

Every big online retailer needs a very good warehouse management system or supplier. If you do not own your own warehouse you need a warehouse supplier and you need to be able to integrate with them to track fulfilment of orders and management of stock.
This is a very complex task and you need a very good understanding of warehouse operations and the frequency of events to ensure all systems connected to the WMS is updating in real time or as close to real time as possible.
Over the last couple of years we have helped Jimmy Choo by creating a bespoke and very efficient system that helped them integrate with multiple warehouses, using different suppliers, in different countries (Japan, London, USA).
The system did everything from order management, financial services and stock management to picking and packing tracking. It was so efficient and well designed that it started in the UK and was eventually rolled out to the US and then Japan.

Automated returns has become a "must-have" for any online retailer as customers need to be able to purchase with the confidence that they can return easily.
We helped Jimmy Choo do exactly this by creating a web services that acted as a integration layer between the ecommerce platform and the warehouse management system.
A customer could log a return via the ecommerce front end, this then passed the message via our service to the WMS. As the WMS took some time to to allocate a automated returns number we created a asynchronise service that sent the automated returns number back once allocated.
This was then logged against the customers return request and at this point the customer could return and the warehouse was aware of the return and waiting to QA the returned product before booking it in and either exchanging or refunding.

Ratkunen Linkshare is one of the best out there and we helped Jimmy Choo implement this complex solution into all of their sites world wide. The solution is complicated due to the nature of implmentation and you need skilled people at hand to do this.
The implemenation consisted out of a product feed, media optimisation pixel implementation as well as transactional feeds for orders, returns and cancellations.

One integral part of the food services industry is tracking of goods once it has left the warehouse. It is not just tracking where the goods are at any point in time, but also what happens at load and delivery as well as in transit.
We helped Adelie integrate the Transend solution into their operations that gave them the capability to literally track a line item being picked, packed into a box, loaded onto a verhicle, transported and delivered. It also tracks the vehicles and driver actions as well as the compartment temperatures and everything else.
This solution was such a success as it gave Adelie the capability to pro-actively resolve any unforseen issues rather than restrospectively try and resolve delivery issues.

Migrating any system is complex and must be a carefully planned exercise. We were tasked with moving a 2 TB full inegrated ERP system on a SQL Server 2008 backend to a SQL server 2017 back end.
As it is a ERP, it is fully operational during the day and the down time needs to be kept to a very small window. Planning a move like this takes a lot of skill and system knowledge as well as some great team work.
We helped Adelie migrate and upgrade this environment from a physical box to the cloud, from a old version of SQL to a new version of SQL and we did this with no loss of data and only with a downtime of 15 mins.
Moving a system that size so smoothly is one of our great achievements to date.
